About us
SIL is an association providing consultancy, training, guidance and professional placement for young people and adults.
Mission
Our commitment is to solve even the most complex situations, achieving the goal together within the set timeframe. We are guided by a pragmatic spirit, professional integrity, and a sense of responsibility towards the people and companies we work with.
Thanks to an interdisciplinary team and a consolidated method, SIL can understand and integrate the needs of the person and those of companies. The team supporting each person’s work integration includes healthcare professionals – based on a bio-psycho-social model – alongside human resources specialists, labour market experts, trainers, guidance counsellors and consultants.
For SIL, there are no “cases”: only people to get to know and accompany towards a potential work opportunity or professional recovery.
Vision
A person who is approaching the labour market for the first time — or who has been temporarily excluded — is a potential economic resource, waiting to be recognised, valued and supported within their socioeconomic context. Through a process of professional re-orientation, skills assessment, training, requalification and performance assessment, SIL accompanies the person toward professional empowerment while allowing companies to discover new resources. This is our concept of social inclusion — which must also be economic inclusion.
We do not only focus on specific categories of people; instead, we listen to the complex needs of every individual who turns to SIL. We consider their life context and professional situation as unique and original elements: this is where the work begins!
