A team of experts \u2014 varying according to the case \u2014 works to meet the individual\u2019s needs. The tailored approach adopted by SIL integrates effectively with the Case Management methodology.

The American Case Management Association (ACMA) defines case management as \u201ca collaborative process of assessment, planning, care coordination, evaluation and advocacy for options and services that meet the overall health needs of the individual and the family, through communication and available resources, in order to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes<\/em>\u201d (CMSA 2012).<\/p>\nCase management: we are committed and passionate about our work.<\/strong><\/p>\nDuring the integration process, the SIL team supports the individual until the defined objectives are achieved and full workplace integration is reached: we remain involved throughout the entire process, maintaining an active and engaged relationship with the person.<\/p>\n
Our commitment is continuous and constant: psychological support and\/or coaching can be activated at any time, if necessary, in addition to training on topics such as self-esteem, self-control and emotional management.<\/p>\n

It is essential that each person makes decisions that align with their own life choices. Our task is not to direct them, but to support them by jointly evaluating realistic options and challenges appropriate to the new skills acquired.

THE PATHWAY<\/h2>The services offered by SIL, classified according to four areas of intervention, also represent the different stages of the process.<\/strong><\/p>\nAnalysis and evaluation<\/strong><\/p>\nThe first step is based on listening to the person\u2019s needs and analysing the situation. At this stage, assessment services tailored to the individual\u2019s needs are activated: the process begins with an occupational health assessment, followed by psychological intake and a skills assessment covering both soft skills and technical skills, in order to identify resources and limitations to be considered in subsequent stages. At this point, the process of guidance and definition of professional objectives begins, based on labour market opportunities.
\nPractical phase: at work, in the workshop or in the company<\/p>\n
In this phase, the project moves directly to the workplace: psychological and physical resilience and skill acquisition are tested in everyday practice. SIL offers opportunities for experience in its assessment workshops or, thanks to collaboration with a broad network of local organisations, directly within companies.<\/p>\n
In our workshops, trainers assess acquired skills and untapped potential. Timing and objectives are defined, and the individual\u2019s progress is monitored. In the company, the consultant coordinates with the work organisation and the person involved in SIL measures to define suitable objectives and activities. The consultant also provides ongoing support to both the professional and the employer, acting in a supervisory role. In both cases, the practical phase concludes with an assessment of the completed programme and an evaluation of professional suitability from technical-business, relational-social, motivational and psycho-physical perspectives. Throughout this phase, the entire professional network may be activated according to the needs of the individual and the company (medical, psychological, guidance, coaching, training, etc.).<\/p>\n
Education and vocational training<\/strong><\/p>\nIn this area, the teacher-trainer defines the objectives to be achieved and assesses progress throughout the learning process, which may be necessary to acquire new skills, or to strengthen or complete existing ones.<\/p>\n
Support for job placement<\/strong><\/p>\nAs the individual approaches the end of the practical phase, the SIL consultant focuses on job search support. When necessary, the person is trained in job search techniques, CV and cover letter preparation, and job interview skills.
